TRIAL & ERROR - Unbaked Granola Bars

Homemade Granola Bars




A few days back, i was curious about Energy Bar/Granola Bar. After had some research from google, there was some recipes, fine not some, but a lot! There so many kind of recipe, one of them may using a walnut, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, brown sugar, etc. But mine is just so simple :



  • Oatmeal (Quaker Oats)
  • Gold Flaxseeds
  • Honey
  • Black Sesame Powder



Just mixed all of them, and the all ingredients will stick together because of the Honey. You may add another ingredients, that you like, for example : Nuts (walnut,almond,pecans), Dried Fruits (Raisins, Dried Cherry, Dried Cranberry), etc.


Depends on your flavor. Then, you can have a paper for baking or plastic, to put the stuffs and start to roll into a mold and wrap it ! After its done, freeze in the refrigerator (mine is in the frozen) So it's even more sticky and cold. Hmmmm... Yummy !


Then wait for a about 15 - 20 minutes to make it cold and even more sticky! Just enjoy your homemade granola bars!
